We honor and celebrate the life of RT Short, a proud United States Air Force veteran whose legacy is marked by honor, dedication, and unwavering service to his country and community. Born on January 17, 1942, and transitioning peacefully on January 8, 2026, Mr. Short lived a life rooted in strength, integrity, and purpose. A Public Viewing will be held on January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church, located at 704 N. Brunnell Parkway, Lakeland, Florida. In recognition of his honorable military service, Interment will take place on January 21, 2026, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. This tribute reflects our deepest respect and gratitude for a life of service, sacrifice, and enduring impact.
