We pause to celebrate the life and legacy of Mr. Otha Dee Peterson, affectionately known as “Sweet Pete.” Born on August 1, 1954, and called home on October 18, 2025, Mr. Peterson will be remembered for his kind spirit, warm heart, and the love he shared with all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory on Saturday, October 25, 2025. A public viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Institutional Church, 932 Martin L. King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida. May his soul find eternal rest and peace, and may his family be strengthened by cherished memories and the comfort of God’s grace. Interment will be at Serenity Gardens 3350 Mall Hill Drive Lakeland, FL 33810.
