It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Ward, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, friend, and cornerstone of our family.
Eleanor lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a fiery spirit that left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eleanor was a caretaker at heart, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether it was offering a helping hand or simply being there to listen. She had a way of making people feel seen and valued. Her outspokenness was matched only by her willingness to give—if you needed it. Eleanor would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought.
Family was at the center of Eleanor’s world. She took great joy in bringing everyone together, often in the warm, welcoming atmosphere of her kitchen, where she worked magic with her cooking. Her meals were not just food; they were expressions of love, and they nourished both body and soul.
Eleanor was also known for her unwavering stubbornness—a testament to her determination and her firm belief in standing by her convictions. Yet, she balanced that strength with an infectious love for life. She cherished having a good time, filling her days with laughter, joy, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures that make life beautiful.
Eleanor, we love you more than words can express. Your absence leaves a hole in our hearts, but we find comfort in the countless memories of your love and light. You will be missed more than you could ever know, but your spirit will live on in the lives you touched. Rest peacefully, Eleanor. You will forever be in our hearts.
