Ms. Roberson of Plant City transitioned Thursday, October 24, 2024. A Time of Reflections will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. including the Omega Omega Ceremony for Delta Sigma Theta Inc. from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 - 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries - 2104 Mud Lake Road, Plant City, Florida 33566. Interment will be held following the Celebration of Life at the Garden of Peace Cemetery - 102 Spencer Street, Plant City, Florida 33563.

It is with great sadness that we announce Mrs. Calisha R Roberson, cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a dedicated Pharmacist, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Lisha was born 5 minutes before her identical twin sister, Catisha R. Smith, who lovingly “pushed her out” to her parents Mr. Rodney L. Smith Sr. and Mrs. Curline Smith at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Florida on December 24, 1978 at 1:32pm. She attended Hillsborough County public schools, as a student first then an athlete. She was Vice President for the class of 1997 at Plant City High School. She furthered her studies and attended the University of South Florida. On April 8, 2001, she pledged the Kappa Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and will forever remain the #4 of the 11 Elements of Epiphany line, as “Contempt”.
Lisha met the love of her life, Daniel W. Roberson, Jr in the 6th grade and after a fun game of tether ball, where she got hit, their lives were forever joined. She married her high school sweetheart Mr. Daniel W. Roberson Jr. on April 3, 2004, as stated by Lisha “over 32 years together and 20 years married... still in love.” Their love story brought forth two beautiful children into the world, Daniel “D3” Roberson III on May 17, 2006, and Danielle Roberson on October 16, 2007. Family was everything to Lisha, and she was known for her strong will, and devotion to her family happiness and well-being.
Lisha graduated from the University of South Florida December of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology. Lisha went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011. Lisha’s desire to better herself by earning a teaching certificate from the University of South Florida, in 2022. As a pharmacist, she was certified in managed care, prior authorization and medical billing. As a Pharmacist, Lisha served her community faithfully, working with CVS Pharmacy for over 13 years and most recently serving Veterans at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. As a pharmacy manager at CVS, she earned the District Pharmacist Paragon award in 2015. She took joy in educating her family and friends about their medications and ensuring that everyone stayed up-to-date with their vaccinations. Lisha was a loyal member of Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries in Plant City, Florida where her faith guided her life and actions. She was a woman of God, love, and kindness.
Lisha leaves behind her beloved husband of 20 years Daniel W. Roberson Jr., and their two children Daniel “D3” Roberson III. and Danielle Roberson. She is also survived by her parents Rodney L. Smith Sr, and Curline Smith; her siblings Rodney L. Smith Jr. (m. LaShonda), Damarence A. Smith, and her identical twin, Catisha R. Smith; as well as her father-in-law, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Daniel Roberson Sr. (m. Patrica Roberson proceeded in death), Shelvy Roberson, Sherrita Pena (Roberson), Paulette Roberson, and fraternal twins Brennan (m. Rikki) and Branden Roberson. Her memory lives on in her nephews and nieces, Christopher Bailey-Smith, Zhamariye’ Smith, DaShon Smith, William Smith, DeAndre Smith, Neila Roberson, Barnabas Carter, Bennett Carter, Carisa Smith and Baelynn Carter. Lisha was blessed with loving Godparents and Uncle & Aunt, Carl and Tammy Brunson and Evangelist Anthony Holmes, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, close family, friends, and a wide circle of those who lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, she will forever remain in our hearts!!!
