Mrs. Strong devoted her life to educational excellence, leadership, mentorship, sisterhood, and service. Her unwavering commitment to inspiring students, empowering educators, and uplifting her community leaves a remarkable legacy that will continue to impact generations.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Coney Funeral Home Memorial Boulevard Chapel, located at 647 W. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, FL 33815.
A Celebration of Life honoring her extraordinary journey will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, located at 2122 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33815. Following the celebration, Interment will take place at Serenity Gardens, located at 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, FL 33810.
As we reflect upon her life, we celebrate a woman whose influence extended far beyond the classroom and the principal's office. Her dedication to education, commitment to service, and devotion to the principles of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® will forever remain part of her enduring legacy.
