Mr. Richard Franklin Hopkins, age 60, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024, in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on July 12, 1963, in Lakeland, Florida, to the late Richard, Sr. and Victoria Hopkins.

"Frankie", as he was affectionately known, was a charming and well-liked individual who had a long and fulfilling career of 29 years at US Foods. Throughout his life, he enjoyed repairing all kinds of machines and engines. He was a lover of riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard, Sr. and Victoria Hopkins; uncle: Clarence "Ike" Lee, Sr. and step-mother: Laura Clifton.

"Frankie" is survived by his loving children: Curtis Groover, Raymond Boswell, Victoria Hopkins (Christopher Latimer), Richard Hopkins, Katara Hopkins, Katrina Hopkins; siblings: Coretta Hopkins, Moretta Hopkins, Cheryle Steward, Terry Hopkins, Dewann Hopkins (Viena) Honore Hopkins (Virgilena); special friend: LaRhonda Foster; special cousin: Eddie as well as a blessing of grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

Mr. Hopkins of Lakeland transitioned Thursday, March 14, 2024. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Coney MLK Chapel - 1404 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33805 with the Celebration of Life to follow.
