Ray Anthony Waring was born June 10, 1959.

Ray was loved by all of his family and close friends. No matter the situation, there was never a dull moment when he was around. He enjoyed working on his home projects, listening to music, fishing. If you know Ray, you understood he was a die hard Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan.

On July 13, 2024, he entered eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Mildred Wright-Waring and brother: Jerry Waring.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 36 years Marquita Waring; children: Rachelle Waring, Lashayla Williams, Timothy Williams; siblings: William Waring, Gwendolyn Jobe, Joyce Waring, Tammy Waring, 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mr. Waring of Lakeland transitioned Saturday, July 13, 2024. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Coney Funeral Home - 647 W. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33815 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Life to follow.
