Nelson Robinson was born on June 16, 1963 to Thomas C. and Rose Ann Roberson.
"Rock", as he was affectionately known, was an athlete par excellence. He excelled in track and field having set records while he was in school.

His warm hugs and bright smile will be cherished in the hearts and memories of his family, friends, and others who knew him. On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, he entered eternal sleep.

His love, life and legacy will forever remain in the hearts, souls and minds of his loving mother: Rose Ann Roberson; siblings: Ulysses Roberson (Felecia), Willie J. Gamble, III, Wanda M. Gaines (Johnathan); aunts: Mildred Williams, Christine Roberson Davis (Alvin); uncle: Howard McFadden; nieces and nephews: Yutasha Hyman (Glenn), Harold Hawthorne, Brittany Jackson (Jarell), Brandon Roberson, Albert Hawthorne, Kamauri Baum; great niece: Ashanti Hawthorne and a host of step-sisters and brothers, cousins, friends and Jackson and Gamble families.

Mr. Robinson transitioned October 31, 2023. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life to follow. All services will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church - 636 Smith Road, Polk City, Florida 33868. Interment will follow the Celebration of Life at New Platt Cemetery - 1450 Barfield Road, Polk City, Florida 33868
