Marcus O'Neal blessed the world on October 13, 1969. He attended Lake Gibson Senior High School. Afterward, he learned brick masonry from his father.

Marcus has always had the gift to "gab." He was a big talker, friendly and didn't meet strangers. That was always a good trait about him loved people. His passed time was cooking. He would host the best cookout of all his siblings, "Yes, mom taught him well." He loves sports and would argue with you about teams whether it was football or basketball.

On February 12, 2024, he entered eternal sleep. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lester O'Neal and Geruth Jackson and his sister: Christina Maria Thomas.

His love, life and legacy will forever remain in the hearts, souls and minds of his loving children: Tavares McDougal, MarQuise McDougal, Markeshia O'Neal, Marcus O'Neal; companion: Yolonda Jackson; siblings: Carolyn O'Neal Jackson (Ron), Keith O'Neal, Charles O'Neal, Leslie Brown (Louis), Quinetta Borders and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom he was loved by as well.

Mr. O'Neal of Blue Springs, Missouri transition Monday, February 12, 2024. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life to follow. Internment will be held at Oak Hill Burial Park - 4620 US Highway 98 S., Lakeland, Florida 33810. All services will be held at First Baptist Institutional Church - 932 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33815.
