Janet Denise Robinson was born to Gloria Jean Smith and Otis A. Robinson at Bartow Memorial Hospital on October 3, 1969.

During her life, Janet attended Westwood Middle School and Auburndale High School. While attending school, she was known to be a great track star athlete. She also is known to have a beautiful voice and love to sing gospel songs.

Janet was very strong and full of life. Even through life sometime got the best of her, Janet enjoyed being around her family and friends and always had a smile regardless of her situation.

On February 28, 2024, God decided that it was her time, but before she gained her wings. Janet was able to save others people lives by being an organ donor.

Janet leaves to cherish her memories her three children: Lacarasha Robinson, Eric Robinson (Nirobley) and Ikea Robinson; grandmother: Eura Smith; siblings: Otis Smith, Timothy Robinson, Buster Gaskins, Sholonda Robinson; 11 grandchildren; 4 aunts, 3 uncles and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Ms. Robinson of Winter Haven, Florida transition February 28, 2024. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. with the Celebration of Life to follow. All services will be held at Coney MLK Chapel - 1404 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33805.
