It is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the Heaven," and as such, the grand architect of the universe, the immaculate author and finisher of our soul's destiny, summoned the mortal presence of dearly beloved, Mrs. Gloria Foster Moore to eternal rest, as she has made life's final transition from earthly travailing to heavenly reward 9 days after her 90th birthday, November 27, 2023 rendering great sorrow and loss to her family and friends.

Gloria Foster Moore was born November 18, 1933 in Lakeland, Florida.

Gloria has truly blessed the lives of others with her compassionate counsel. She was one of the sweetest people you could ever come in contact with. She enjoyed cooking, walking, shopping, church and spending time with her family. Her radiant smile and unique personality separated her from others.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her son: David Franklin Foster; grandson: David Samuel Foster; sister: Florida Marks Hinson; nieces: Ramona Cohen, Raylanda O'Neal; goddaughters: Deloris Pickett Patterson, Patina Parimore Griffin; adopted daughter: Debra Woodard, adopted granddaughter: Marquita Woodard and extended family and friends.

Ms. Moore of Lakeland transitioned Monday, November 27, 2023. A Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 - 10:00 a.m. at Coney Funeral Home - 647 W. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33815.
