Denver Orion Stephens was born January 1, 2010 to Mavaria Carter and Avery Stephen, Sr. in Lakeland, Florida. He was known to his loved ones as "Doo."

"Doo" was an 8th grader at Rochelle School of the Arts in Lakeland, Florida. He was a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Lakeland. He played basketball for the TB21 8th Grade B Team and was an avid video gamer.

Doo's graciousness, compassion and extensive intellect charmed many people. He was humbled and enjoyed everything about life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Annie P. Smith, Lester Stephens and great grandfather: Jerry Brown and Lester Stephens, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father: Avery Stephens; siblings: Avery Stephen, Jr., JayDrian Gatlin, Ava Stephens; grandparents: Margaret Felton, Sabrina Stephens, Michael Carter, Sr. (Quenetta); great grandparent: Mandy Brown, Dwight Smith, Robert Felton, Sr. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and adoring friends.

Prince Stephens of Lakeland transitioned on September 11, 2023. A visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 - 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Coney Funeral Home - 647 W. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33815. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of First United Methodist Church - 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33801.
