McCowin, Norman Cornelieus, Jr, 45 of Henrico, VA passed peacefully in Tampa, Florida
on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Norman & Gloria McCowin, his
son, Norman Jayden McCowin of Tampa, FL and two sisters: Norma McCowin of
Annapolis, Maryland, and Jessica McCowin of Richmond. Norman graduated from
Henrico High School where he played baseball. He attended North Carolina Agricultural
and Technical State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Art Degree.

After College, Norman relocated to Tampa, FL, where he enjoyed a successful business
career for over 30 years. For the last 11 years, he has worked for Humana Inc. as an
insurance salesman. Norman loved to attend professional sporting events and amusement
parks with his son Jayden and spending time at the beach, his “second” home.

As Norman Jr.’s son will always be his greatest love, the family asks that you make
contributions to The Norman Jayden McCowin Scholarship Fund in lieu of flowers. Please
