Mrs. Roberts of Plant City transitioned Wednesday, August 14, 2024. A visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church - 108 S. Warnell Street, Plant City, Florida 33563. Interment will follow the Celebration of Life at Shiloh Cemetery - 378 E. Terrace Drive, Plant City, Florida 33563

Her Journey
It is written: “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the Heaven,” such was the case of Connie La’Faye Smith when she blessed the world with her presence on February 22, 1960 to loving parents Anderson and Litha Mae Smith

‘Connie Faye” was she was affectionately known, charmed her many people with her wit, smile and personality, but the heart and soul of a man named Frank in 1982. The two lovebirds exchanged the vows of holy matrimony with the words, “I do” uniting them as one.

Connie Faye was a lifetime Home Maker and gave support wherever it was needed. She was an avid Florida Gator’s Fan and enjoyed watching all sports. Her motherly love landed her the position of “Team Mom” for the local little league Eagles Football Team

Connie Faye accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated and faithful member of Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. She a member of the Unity Usher Board and gave support to many of the auxiliaries. She loved her church and church family.

The author and finisher of our soul’s destiny, summoned the mortal presence of dearly beloved, Connie Faye to eternal rest, as she has made life’s final transition from earthly travailing to heavenly reward on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

Her warm hugs and bright smile will be cherished in the hearts and memories of her family, friends, church friends, and others who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Litha Smith and siblings: Louise Campbell, David Anderson, Charlie, Clayton, Melvin, Gladis, Alberta, Ervin, Lorenzo and Oliver Smith.

The memory of Connie will continue to refresh the hearts and memories of her beloved survivors: a loving and devoted husband of 42 years: Frank A. Roberts; children: Alisha Michaels, Frank A. Roberts, Jr.; raised as a son and daughter: Rashad T. Orr and Angelet Gordon; siblings: Deacon Donnell Smith, Jimmy James Smith; grandchildren: Sa’Keria, Trey’von. Rashad, Jr., Allen, Harmoney, Rayne and Ariel, Zaria, sister/best friend: Connie Dasher, god child: Carlos Morris and a multitude of nieces, nephews, godchildren , friends and church family.
