Bernice was a mother, a nurturer, a friend, confidant and laid back person. She loved arts and crafts. She studied Auto Mechanics in Job Corps.

She was quick witted and kind. She would help anyone she could. She loved her Bud Light as well to have fun and read her Bible. She could quote any scripture. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone she cared for. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joanne Green and James Dixon, Sister: BarbaraAnne William and life partner: Johnnie McCall.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Cassandra Sturgill (Tony), Randy Dixon, Zanterriah Love, Cornelius Love, Joshua McCall, Jarvis McCall; grandchildren: Raquel Wiggins, Eric Ebron, Alexio Dixon, Jaudell Handford, Jakeria Murray; siblings: Jamie Lee Calhoun, Victoria Dixon, Betty Collier (Billy), Michael Dixon, Shavon Williams, Willie Joe Williams, Veronica Dixon (Ketton) and a host of extended family member.
